Captivity 04:55
Drops of silky toxic rain, stains light scars upon my blue light windowpane. and when I aboard the ship to bliss, will you stand ashore and wave you handkerchief? I am my own deity and I will pray to me to keep the castle locked up tight, beware the prowlers of the night look for the maid with the eyes of jade from which fountains of crystal tears cascade. A face of pearl wrapped up in golden curls, a red light shines upon feral forsaken girl. below the deck she waits and creeps, and when the crew is fast asleep she sets a pyre on the sea. You'll not keep me, in captivity, you'll not keep me no no no you'll not keep me. across the sea, I will be free, you'll not keep me no no no. Mystical melodies sung by gilled sirens splash against the hull and echo down the burning halls, we'll hang em out to dry they'll whisper and they sigh as ancient warlords battles cry. Land ho and faster they row, searching for that which we cannot know. ghosts and specters, knights and jesters, unaware of their indentured lives they fester. You'll not keep me, in captivity, you'll not keep me no no no you'll not keep me. across the sea, I will be free, you'll not keep me no no no.

Hush 02:07
Many and dusty roads I've trampled, for so very very long. Can you spare a smoke sir please I'm starving in my lungs. this breath is tryin to get the best of me, please be quiet I'm tryin to get some sleep, and if the wind calls my name..well just tell her she must wait. Hush. Have you heard the snow fall in the city at night? watched as the worlds colors changed in the reflecting light? and when this bodies gone my smile remains, laughter will live on recycled unrestrained, hurry lets not miss the train. and as the moon does wain the fleeting seasons change, and though I won't remain I will remember everything. Do you know why the sun blows? do you know why the clouds snow? maybe one day we'll all go to the garden where we can grow. Hush.

about

I wrote these songs a few years ago and they are very dear to me. Many of the recordings are also from a long time ago and were recorded in my kitchen on an old desktop so excuse the low-fi quality.

Music is my escape from reality, it is my meditation and my medication. I love music because it is a glimpse into the mind of the artist, it is true empathy...being able to feel a certain way, experience an emotion just by hearing a sound. music is magic. ... more
